Support Group for Parents of Teens
A Support Group for Parents of Teens
is beginning
at Merkaz Edna on Wednesday evenings.
The support group is a place for parents to share
their struggles and dilemmas, unload the difficult feelings involved, and get suggestions from other parents and the facilitators.
The facilitator, Justin Resnick PhD., is an experienced psychologist who has presented a model for effectively parenting teens, based on what sociology and brain science teach us about this sensitive time.
The model seeks to protect your supportive & caring role with your child by minimizing power struggles, parenting collaboratively with your teen, and using Natural Consequences.
The group will meet on

beginning December 31
from 19:30 until 21:00.
